略歴（Biography）
安岡 正篤（やすおか まさひろ、1898年–1983年）は、日本の東洋思想家、教育者。中国古典や儒学、陽明学を基礎に、人間学やリーダーシップ論を説き、昭和期を代表する思想家の一人として知られる。1926年に金鶏学院を創設し、政財界の指導者をはじめ多くの人材の教育に尽力した。『論語』『易経』『大学』『中庸』など東洋古典の現代的な意義をわかりやすく説き、人間形成や国家、経営のあり方について数多くの著作と講演を通じて発信した。その思想は戦後日本の政界・財界にも大きな影響を与え、東洋思想を現代社会に生かした代表的な思想家として高く評価されている。
Masahiro Yasuoka (1898–1983) was a Japanese philosopher of Eastern thought and educator. Drawing on the Chinese classics, Confucianism, and Wang Yangming's philosophy, he became one of the leading intellectuals of the Showa era, advocating the study of human character, leadership, and moral cultivation. In 1926, he founded the Kinkei Gakuin, where he devoted himself to educating future leaders from government, business, and other fields. Through numerous books and lectures, Yasuoka presented modern interpretations of classical works such as the Analects, the I Ching, The Great Learning, and the Doctrine of the Mean, emphasizing their relevance to personal development, governance, and management. His ideas exerted a lasting influence on postwar Japanese political and business leaders, establishing him as one of the foremost interpreters of Eastern philosophy in modern Japan.
