Tsukiko is a manga artist from Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. She made her professional debut in 2000 in “Bessatsu Young Magazine” and has created works including “Kanojo to Kamera to Kanojo no Kisetsu,” a story about two girls and a boy whose relationships are transformed through photography, and the romantic comedy “Tsurutsuru to Zarazara no Aida.” Her representative work, “Shrink: Seishinkai Yowai,” is a medical manga written by Jin Nanami and illustrated by Tsukiko. Through the practice of psychiatrist Kōnosuke Yowai, it depicts patients and families confronting conditions such as panic disorder, depression, developmental disorders, and PTSD, as well as the paths that connect them with treatment and community support. The series received the fifth Saito Takao Award in 2021 and was adapted into an NHK television drama in 2024.
