タイラー・コーエン（Tyler Cowen、1962–） アメリカの経済学者。ジョージ・メイソン大学教授。経済成長、イノベーション、文化経済学を専門とし、テクノロジーや教育、AIなど幅広いテーマについて研究・執筆を行っている。経済ブログ「Marginal Revolution」の共同創設者としても知られる。『大停滞』（原題 "The Great Stagnation: How America Ate All the Low-Hanging Fruit of Modern History, Got Sick, and Will (Eventually) Feel Better"）は、アメリカ経済の成長鈍化を、容易に得られる技術革新や資源を使い尽くした結果として捉え、生産性向上と経済成長をめぐる議論に新たな視点を提示した。
Tyler Cowen (born 1962) is an American economist and Professor of Economics at George Mason University. His work spans economic growth, innovation, cultural economics, technology, education, and artificial intelligence. He is also the co-founder of the influential economics blog "Marginal Revolution." His best-known book, "The Great Stagnation: How America Ate All the Low-Hanging Fruit of Modern History, Got Sick, and Will (Eventually) Feel Better," argues that the slowdown in U.S. economic growth stems from the exhaustion of the easiest sources of innovation and productivity, offering a new perspective on the challenges of long-term economic growth.
