立花 幸司（TACHIBANA Koji）- 哲学者、倫理学者

立花幸司（たちばな こうじ、1979–） 哲学者、倫理学者。千葉大学大学院人文科学研究院准教授。アリストテレス以来の徳倫理学を基盤に、宇宙倫理学、教育哲学、脳神経倫理学などを研究し、宇宙開発をめぐる倫理的・社会的課題について幅広く発信している。『宇宙開発の哲学 科学ではわからない最後の問い』は、宇宙開発を科学技術だけでなく、倫理学や政治哲学の視点から捉え直し、人類はなぜ宇宙を目指すのか、宇宙でどのような社会を築くべきかを考察している。

Koji Tachibana (born 1979) is a Japanese philosopher and ethicist specializing in virtue ethics, space ethics, and applied ethics. An Associate Professor at Chiba University, he explores the ethical challenges posed by emerging technologies, including space exploration, artificial intelligence, and neuroscience. His best-known book, "Uchū Kaihatsu no Tetsugaku: Kagaku de wa Wakaranai Saigo no Toi" ("The Philosophy of Space Exploration: The Final Questions Science Cannot Answer"), examines space exploration through the lenses of ethics and political philosophy, asking why humanity should explore space and what values should guide life beyond Earth.
