David Diop（ダヴィド・ディオップ、1966年生まれ）は、フランスの小説家、文学研究者。フランス・パリ生まれ。幼少期をセネガルで過ごし、フランスへ戻った後、大学で18世紀フランス文学を学んだ。現在はポー大学教授として文学を教えている。植民地主義、戦争、人種、記憶、アイデンティティをテーマに、アフリカとヨーロッパ双方の歴史を鋭い視点から描く作品で高く評価され、現代フランス文学を代表する作家の一人とされる。2018年刊行の『夜のすべての血は黒い』（原題：Frère d'âme）は、第一次世界大戦に従軍したセネガル兵の極限状態を描いた長編小説として高い評価を受け、英訳版 At Night All Blood Is Black が2021年のInternational Booker Prizeを受賞した。著書に『夜のすべての血は黒い』などがある。
David Diop (born 1966) is a French novelist and literary scholar. Born in Paris, he spent much of his childhood in Senegal before returning to France, where he studied eighteenth-century French literature. He is a professor of literature at the University of Pau. Widely regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary French literature, Diop explores colonialism, war, race, memory, and identity through fiction that bridges African and European histories. His novel Frère d'âme (2018), translated into English as At Night All Blood Is Black, won the 2021 International Booker Prize. His other notable works include 1889, l'Attraction universelle, At Night All Blood Is Black, Beyond the Door of No Return, and La Porte du voyage sans retour.
