ダレル・M・ウェスト（Darrell M. West、1954年 - ）は、アメリカの政治学者、公共政策研究者。ブルッキングス研究所のCenter for Technology Innovationでシニアフェローを務め、AI、ロボット、自動化、デジタル技術が雇用、政治、公共政策に及ぼす影響を研究している。インディアナ大学で政治学のPh.D.を取得し、ブラウン大学で政治学・公共政策教授、Taubman Center for Public Policy所長などを歴任した。代表作『The Future of Work: Robots, AI, and Automation』（未邦訳）では、AIやロボットによる自動化が進み、企業がより少ない労働力で生産できるようになったとき、雇用や所得、社会保障がどのように変化するのかを分析。教育や職業訓練だけでなく、雇用を前提として設計されてきた社会保障制度や公共政策そのものを、技術革新に合わせて見直す必要性を論じている。

Darrell M. West (born 1954) is an American political scientist and public policy scholar whose research focuses on artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and the impact of digital technology on work, politics, and public policy. He is a senior fellow in the Center for Technology Innovation at the Brookings Institution. He earned a Ph.D. in political science from Indiana University and previously served as Professor of Political Science and Public Policy and director of the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University. In "The Future of Work: Robots, AI, and Automation," West examines how advances in artificial intelligence and robotics could transform employment, income, and social welfare as companies become able to produce more with fewer workers. He argues that societies need to reconsider not only education and workforce training but also social benefits and public policies that have traditionally been organized around full-time employment.
