ダニー・オルバッハ（Danny Orbach、1981–）は、イスラエルの歴史学者。ヘブライ大学歴史学部准教授を務め、日本近現代史、軍事史、情報機関史、比較帝国史を専門としている。日本陸軍や戦時下の意思決定、クーデター、諜報活動などを幅広く研究し、日本語・中国語を含む多言語の史料を用いた実証的な研究で知られる。著書『Cursed Victory: A History of Israel and the Occupied Territories』や『Fugitives: A History of Nazi Mercenaries during the Cold War』のほか、『The Plots Against Hitler』では、ヒトラー暗殺計画の全体像を史料に基づいて再検証し、抵抗運動の実像を描き出している。
Danny Orbach (1981–) is an Israeli historian and Associate Professor in the Department of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on modern Japanese history, military history, intelligence, coups d'état, and comparative imperial history. Drawing on sources in multiple languages, including Japanese and Chinese, he has published widely on wartime decision-making, espionage, and political violence. He is the author of The Plots Against Hitler, Fugitives: A History of Nazi Mercenaries during the Cold War, and Cursed Victory: A History of Israel and the Occupied Territories, combining archival research with accessible historical analysis.
