Daniel Susskind is a British economist specializing in the impact of technology, particularly artificial intelligence, on work, the economy, and society. He is a Research Professor at King's College London and a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Ethics in AI at the University of Oxford. Earlier in his career, he worked in the British government, including the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit, the Policy Unit at 10 Downing Street, and the Cabinet Office. In "A World Without Work: Technology, Automation, and How We Should Respond," Susskind examines how advances in AI and automation could lead to a world in which there is not enough paid work for everyone.
