Dan Wang（ダン・ワング）は、中国系カナダ人のテクノロジーアナリスト、ジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。中国・雲南省生まれ、カナダで育つ。テクノロジー、産業政策、中国経済、米中関係を専門とし、調査会社Gavekal Dragonomicsのテクノロジーアナリストを経て、Hoover Institution研究フェローやYale Law School Paul Tsai China Center客員研究員を務めた。長年にわたり中国で生活・取材した経験をもとに、中国の技術革新や製造業、半導体、産業競争力について鋭い分析を発信し、現代中国研究を代表する論者の一人として国際的に高く評価されている。
Dan Wang is a Chinese Canadian technology analyst, journalist, and nonfiction author. Born in Yunnan, China, and raised in Canada, he specializes in technology, industrial policy, the Chinese economy, and U.S.–China relations. After serving as a technology analyst at Gavekal Dragonomics, he became a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and a visiting scholar at the Yale Law School Paul Tsai China Center. Drawing on years of experience living and working in China, Wang is widely recognized for his insightful analysis of Chinese technological development, manufacturing, semiconductors, and industrial competitiveness. Through his writing and research, he has established himself as one of the leading contemporary commentators on China's technological rise and its implications for the global economy.
