Dan Fox（ダン・フォックス、1976年生まれ）は、イギリスの作家、文芸・美術評論家、編集者、映画監督、ミュージシャン。オックスフォード生まれ。現代アート誌『Frieze』で約20年にわたり編集者・ライターを務め、共同編集長も歴任した。現在は文芸誌『The Yale Review』のシニア・エディターを務める。
現代美術、文学、音楽、大衆文化を横断する評論活動で知られ、鋭い批評性と軽妙なユーモアを織り交ぜた文章で高い評価を受けている。エリート主義や文化的価値観を再考した『Pretentiousness: Why It Matters』や、創造性や停滞、現代社会を考察した『Limbo』などを通じて、芸術と文化を新たな視点から読み解く現代イギリスを代表する批評家の一人として活躍している。
Dan Fox (born 1976) is a British writer, critic, editor, filmmaker, and musician. Born in Oxford, England, he spent nearly two decades as an editor and staff writer for the contemporary art magazine Frieze, including serving as its co-editor, and is now a senior editor at The Yale Review.
Fox is widely recognized for his writing on contemporary art, literature, music, and popular culture, combining sharp critical insight with wit and intellectual curiosity.
