Dan Fagin（ダン・フェイギン）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、作家。ニューヨーク大学アーサー・L・カーター・ジャーナリズム研究所教授。長年にわたり環境、科学、公衆衛生をテーマに取材・執筆を行い、調査報道と科学ジャーナリズムの分野で高い評価を受けている。環境汚染や公衆衛生問題を歴史的・科学的視点から描くノンフィクションを数多く発表し、2013年刊行の『Toms River: A Story of Science and Salvation』で2014年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。同書は、ニュージャージー州トムズリバーで発生した小児がんの多発と化学物質汚染を追った環境ノンフィクションの代表作として知られる。著書に『Toms River: A Story of Science and Salvation』などがある。
Dan Fagin is an American journalist, author, and Professor at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, New York University. He has spent much of his career reporting on environmental science, public health, and environmental policy, earning widespread recognition for his investigative and science journalism. His work combines rigorous scientific research with compelling narrative to examine the human consequences of environmental contamination and public health crises. His book "Toms River: A Story of Science and Salvation," which chronicles the link between industrial pollution and childhood cancer in a New Jersey community, won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. It is widely regarded as one of the landmark works of modern environmental journalism.
