佐々木一郎（ささき いちろう、Ichiro Sasaki、1972–） スポーツジャーナリスト。日刊スポーツNEWS記者。2010年から大相撲を担当し、力士や親方への継続的な取材を通じて、土俵の内外に息づく相撲文化や伝統を伝えている。新聞や「日刊スポーツ・プレミアム」での執筆に加え、イベントの司会や番組監修なども手がけ、大相撲の魅力を幅広い層へ発信している。代表作『相撲浴衣反物見本帖』は、力士や相撲部屋の浴衣反物71点を収録し、それぞれの図案に込められた思いや制作秘話を紹介することで、あまり知られてこなかった相撲文化の奥深さを描いている。
Ichiro Sasaki (born 1972) is a Japanese sports journalist and reporter for Nikkan Sports NEWS. Since 2010, he has covered professional sumo, reporting extensively on both the sport and its traditions through close, long-term coverage of wrestlers and stablemasters. In addition to writing for newspapers and the subscription service *Nikkan Sports Premium*, he serves as an event host and media commentator, helping introduce the culture of sumo to a wider audience. His best-known book, "Sumo Yukata Fabric Pattern Collection," presents 71 yukata fabric designs created by top-division wrestlers and sumo stables, exploring the stories, symbolism, and craftsmanship behind this distinctive aspect of sumo culture.
