Satu Rämö（サトゥ・ラモ、1980年生まれ）は、フィンランドの作家、ジャーナリスト。フィンランド生まれ。2007年にアイスランドへ移住し、現地の自然や文化、暮らしをテーマにした著作やメディア活動を通じて広く知られるようになった。2022年に発表したデビュー・ミステリー『Hildur』は、アイスランド西フィヨルドを舞台にした警察小説として大きな成功を収め、北欧各国でベストセラーとなった。美しい自然描写と心理描写を織り交ぜながら、家族の秘密や喪失、地域社会の人間関係を丁寧に描く作風で高い評価を受けている。「Hildur」シリーズは世界各国で翻訳され、現代北欧ミステリーを代表する新たなシリーズの一つとして注目を集めている。
Satu Rämö (born 1980) is a Finnish author and journalist based in Iceland. After moving from Finland to Iceland in 2007, she became widely known for her writing on Icelandic culture, nature, and everyday life. In 2022, she made her crime fiction debut with Hildur, a police procedural set in Iceland's remote Westfjords. The novel became a major bestseller across the Nordic countries and launched an internationally successful series. Blending atmospheric landscapes with psychologically rich storytelling, Rämö explores themes of family, loss, resilience, and life in small communities. The Hildur series has been translated into numerous languages, establishing her as one of the leading new voices in contemporary Nordic crime fiction.
