Sasha Issenberg An American journalist and author who has covered presidential elections for The Boston Globe and written about politics and campaigns for publications including Slate, Bloomberg Politics, and Businessweek. He has also taught political science at UCLA. Much of his work examines the machinery behind modern political campaigns, particularly the ways data analysis and behavioral science have transformed how candidates identify, persuade, and mobilize voters. In "The Victory Lab: The Secret Science of Winning Campaigns," he traces the rise of a data-driven approach to American elections, showing how voter databases, behavioral psychology, randomized experiments, and statistical modeling began to replace intuition and conventional campaign wisdom.
