サマンサ・ハーヴィー（Samantha Harvey、1975–） イギリスの小説家。ヨーク大学とシェフィールド大学で哲学を学び、バース・スパ大学でクリエイティブ・ライティングを教えている。デビュー作『The Wilderness』でベティ・トラスク賞を受賞し、2024年には『Orbital』でブッカー賞を受賞した。代表作『Orbital』（未邦訳）は、国際宇宙ステーションで任務に就く6人の宇宙飛行士の一日を通して、地球の美しさや人間の存在、生命の儚さを静かな筆致で描いている。
Samantha Harvey (born 1975) is a British novelist. She studied philosophy at the University of York and the University of Sheffield and teaches Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. Her debut novel, "The Wilderness," won the Betty Trask Prize, and in 2024 she received the Booker Prize for "Orbital." Her best-known novel, "Orbital," follows a single day in the lives of six astronauts aboard the International Space Station, reflecting on the beauty of Earth, the nature of human existence, and the fragility of life.
