サケット・ソニ（Saket Soni） 労働運動家、人権活動家、作家。インド生まれ。米国の非営利団体Resilience Forceの創設者・代表を務め、気候災害後の復旧・復興を担う移民労働者や低賃金労働者の権利擁護に取り組んでいる。2005年のハリケーン・カトリーナ後には、人身売買の被害を受けたインド人労働者の救出と法的支援を主導し、現代の強制労働や移民政策をめぐる問題について広く発信してきた。代表作『The Great Escape: A True Story of Forced Labor and Immigrant Dreams in America』（未邦訳）は、アメリカ史上最大級の人身売買事件の一つを当事者の視点から描き、移民労働と気候災害復興の現実を記録したノンフィクションである。
Saket Soni is an Indian-born labor organizer, human rights advocate, and author. He is the founder and director of Resilience Force, a nonprofit organization that advocates for the workers rebuilding communities after climate disasters. Soni first gained national attention for leading the campaign that freed hundreds of Indian migrant workers trapped in one of the largest forced labor and human trafficking cases in modern U.S. history. His best-known book, "The Great Escape: A True Story of Forced Labor and Immigrant Dreams in America," recounts that struggle while examining the intersection of immigration, labor rights, and climate resilience in the United States.
