阮義忠（Juan I-jong）- 台湾：写真家

阮義忠（ルアン・イージョン、1950年–）は、台湾の写真家、出版人、写真教育者。宜蘭県頭城鎮に生まれ、雑誌の編集やデザインを経て写真を始め、1970年代から1980年代にかけて台湾各地を歩きながら、農村や漁村、都市に暮らす人々と変わりゆく土地の姿をモノクロ写真に記録した。写真専門出版社を設立し、1992年には中英二言語の写真誌「Photographers International」を創刊するなど、写真文化の紹介と普及にも携わってきた。2024年に行政院文化賞を受賞。代表作『人と土地――台湾 1974–1986』は、農業社会から工業社会へ移行する時代の台湾を背景に、働く人々の日常、祭礼、家族、土地との結びつきを写真と文章によって伝える写文集である。

Juan I-jong (born 1950) is a Taiwanese photographer, publisher, and photography educator. Born in Toucheng, Yilan County, he entered photography after working in magazine editing and design. During the 1970s and 1980s, he traveled throughout Taiwan, using black-and-white photography to document people living in rural villages, fishing communities, and rapidly changing cities. He also helped develop photographic culture in the Chinese-speaking world by establishing a photography publishing house and founding the bilingual magazine "Photographers International" in 1992. He received Taiwan’s Executive Yuan Culture Award in 2024. His representative work, "Man and Land: Taiwan 1974–1986," combines photographs and essays to portray everyday labor, festivals, families, and ties to the land as Taiwan shifted from an agricultural to an industrial society.
