略歴（Biography）
牧野洋（まきの ひろし） 日本のジャーナリスト。日本経済新聞社で長年にわたり国際報道や経済報道に携わり、シリコンバレー支局長、ロンドン支局長などを歴任した。テクノロジー企業や世界経済、イノベーションを継続的に取材し、海外のビジネスや産業動向を日本の読者に伝えている。代表作『FACTFULNESS（ファクトフルネス）』では日本語版の翻訳を手がけるとともに、自身の著書『世界の一流は「休日」に何をしているのか』では、世界で活躍するビジネスパーソンへの取材をもとに、働き方や自己成長のあり方を考察している。
Hiroshi Makino is a Japanese journalist. During his long career at Nikkei Inc., he covered international affairs, business, and technology, serving as the Silicon Valley bureau chief and London bureau chief, among other editorial positions. Through extensive reporting on global companies, innovation, and economic trends, he has helped introduce international business developments to Japanese readers. In addition to translating the Japanese edition of "Factfulness", he is the author of "What the World's Top Performers Do on Their Days Off", which draws on interviews with leading professionals around the world to explore work, leisure, and personal growth.
