Max Porter（マックス・ポーター、1981年生まれ）は、イギリスの小説家、編集者。出版社で編集者としてキャリアを積んだ後、作家としてデビューし、詩、小説、エッセイの境界を越える独創的な作品で国際的な評価を獲得した。喪失、家族、愛、記憶、人間の再生をテーマに、詩的な言語と実験的な語りを融合させた作品で知られる。デビュー作『悲しみはバードのように』（原題：Grief Is the Thing with Feathers）は世界各国で高く評価され、数々の文学賞を受賞した。現代イギリス文学を代表する新世代作家の一人として、その革新的な文体と豊かな想像力が高く評価されている。
