Ken Kusunoki (born 1964) is a Japanese management scholar and Specially Appointed Professor at the Graduate School of Business Administration, Hitotsubashi University. Specializing in competitive strategy, he studies how companies build distinctive and sustainable strategies that generate long-term profits. Kusunoki is widely known for his approach to strategy as a coherent “story” rather than a collection of individual initiatives. He is the author of numerous books on strategy, management, and work, and is also active as a speaker and advisor to business leaders.
