クワハリ（Kuwahali）- 漫画家

クワハリ（1986年–）は、滋賀県出身の漫画家、漫画原作者。自身の軽音部での経験をもとに描いた『ふつうの軽音部』の原作版を、2023年に投稿サイト「ジャンプルーキー！」で発表し、SNSで注目を集めた。2024年からはクワハリが原作、出内テツオが作画を担当する新たな『ふつうの軽音部』が「少年ジャンプ＋」で連載され、「次にくるマンガ大賞2024」Webマンガ部門第1位、「このマンガがすごい！2025」オトコ編第2位、マンガ大賞2025第3位に選ばれた。代表作『ふつうの軽音部』は、邦楽ロックを愛する高校1年生・鳩野ちひろが軽音部に入り、初心者としてギターや歌に向き合いながら、部員たちの恋愛、嫉妬、挫折、バンド内の駆け引きに巻き込まれていく青春群像劇である。

Kuwahali (born 1986) is a Japanese manga creator and manga writer from Shiga Prefecture. Drawing on personal experience in a high school light music club, Kuwahali published the original version of “Girl Meets Rock!” on the Jump Rookie! platform in 2023, where it attracted attention on social media. A new version, written by Kuwahali and illustrated by Tetsuo Ideuchi, began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2024. It won first place in the web manga category of the 2024 Next Manga Awards, ranked second on the male readers’ list of “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2025,” and placed third in the 2025 Manga Taisho. “Girl Meets Rock!” follows first-year high school student Chihiro Hatono as she joins her school’s light music club and struggles to improve as a guitarist and singer amid friendships, romances, jealousy, setbacks, and shifting alliances among its young musicians.
