楠 なな（KUSUNOKI Nana）- 漫画家

楠 なな（くすのき なな、Nana Kusunoki）は、高校生の恋愛を中心に少女漫画を描く日本の漫画家。Instagramに二次創作のイラストを投稿していた時期に、オリジナルの漫画に挑戦したいと考え、初めての漫画『どうやらコレが恋らしい』を描いた。学校で人気のある先輩と交際する少女が、相手に好かれているという自信を持てずに揺れる物語を通じ、交際が始まってからの不安や気持ちの行き違いを扱った。同作は電子書籍となり、2024年に全4巻で完結した。本人はインタビューで、台詞だけでは説明しきれない感情を表情や線で表すことを重視し、登場人物の性格や生い立ちを設定してから、日常の中で思いついた場面や台詞を記録して物語を組み立てると語った。『マーガレット』で連載する『恋するリップ・ティント』では、恋に憧れる高校生のあこが、学校で人気の先輩・遥巳の服にリップの跡をつけてしまう出来事から二人の関係を描いた。恋心が動き始める中で、友人の片想いや、二人を取り巻く人間関係の変化も物語に組み込み、2026年には単行本第7巻が刊行された。

Nana Kusunoki is a Japanese manga artist who writes shojo romance about high-school students. While posting fan illustrations on Instagram, she decided to try an original comic and created “Doyara Kore ga Koi Rashii,” her first manga. It follows a girl dating a popular older student and explores insecurity and misunderstandings within an established relationship. The work was published digitally and concluded in four volumes in 2024. In an interview, Kusunoki described her attention to facial expressions and drawn lines as ways of conveying feelings that dialogue alone cannot explain. She also discussed developing characters’ personalities and backgrounds before recording ideas for scenes and dialogue encountered in everyday life. Her Margaret series “Koisuru Lip Tint” begins when Ako, a high-school girl who longs for romance, accidentally leaves a lipstick mark on the clothing of Harumi, a popular older student. As their relationship develops, friends’ unrequited feelings and changing personal connections complicate the story. The seventh collected volume was published in 2026.
