黒田明伸（くろだ あきのぶ、Akinobu Kuroda、1964–） 歴史学者。東京大学東洋文化研究所教授。中国・アジア経済史を専門とし、貨幣や銀、信用制度、交易ネットワークなどを通して、近世・近代アジアの経済システムを研究している。地域ごとの制度や商慣行を実証的に分析し、世界経済の形成をアジアの視点から捉え直す研究で知られる。代表作『貨幣システムの世界史―〈非対称性〉をよむ』は、世界各地の多様な貨幣制度を比較しながら、貨幣や市場の仕組みが地域ごとの歴史や社会の中でどのように発展してきたかを読み解いている。
Akinobu Kuroda (born 1964) is a Japanese historian and Professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, the University of Tokyo. Specializing in the economic history of China and Asia, his research focuses on monetary systems, silver, credit, and trade networks in early modern and modern Asia. Through comparative studies of regional institutions and commercial practices, he reexamines the development of the global economy from an Asian perspective. His best-known book, "A Global History of Monetary Systems: Reading Asymmetry," explores the historical evolution of diverse monetary systems and the ways in which money and markets have developed within different social and historical contexts.
