栗原 俊秀（KURIHARA Toshihide）- 翻訳家

栗原俊秀（くりはら としひで、1983年–）は、イタリア文学を中心に翻訳する日本の翻訳家。カルミネ・アバーテの『偉大なる時のモザイク』の翻訳で、須賀敦子翻訳賞とイタリア文化財・文化活動省翻訳賞を受賞した。クラウディア・ドゥラスタンティの『異邦人』では、家族の記憶と言語、移動をめぐる経験を重ねた作品を紹介。アルバ・ドナーティの『丘の上の小さな本屋さん』では、小さな村の書店を通して、本と地域の人々が結ばれる日々を伝えている。ゼロカルカーレの『コバニ・コーリング』などのグラフィック・ノヴェルや、カルロ・ロヴェッリの科学書も手がけ、物語、社会、科学を横断してイタリア語の著作を届ける。

Toshihide Kurihara (born 1983) is a Japanese translator specializing in Italian literature. His translation of Carmine Abate’s work published in Japanese as “Idai naru Toki no Mozaiku” received the Atsuko Suga Translation Prize and an Italian ministry translation award. Claudia Durastanti’s “Strangers I Know” connects family memories with experiences of language and movement. Alba Donati’s “Diary of a Tuscan Bookshop” follows the relationships formed around books in a small village. Kurihara also translates graphic narratives such as Zerocalcare’s “Kobane Calling” and Carlo Rovelli’s writing on science. His work introduces Italian-language books across literature, social questions, and scientific inquiry.
