Greg Grandin（グレッグ・グランディン、1962年生まれ）は、アメリカの歴史学者。イェール大学歴史学部教授。ブルックリン大学卒業後、イェール大学で歴史学博士号（Ph.D.）を取得した。専門はラテンアメリカ史、アメリカ外交史、帝国史で、植民地主義、冷戦、人権、資本主義をテーマに数多くの研究を発表している。ラテンアメリカとアメリカの関係を歴史的・思想的視点から読み解く研究で国際的に高く評価され、現代世界の政治や国際秩序に関する論考でも広く知られている。2025年刊行の『America, América: A New History of the New World』で、2026年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。著書に『The Last Colonial Massacre』『Empire's Workshop』『The Empire of Necessity』『The End of the Myth』『America, América』などがある。
Greg Grandin (born 1962) is an American historian and the Peter V. and C. Vann Woodward Professor of History at the Yale University. After graduating from Brooklyn College, he earned his Ph.D. in History from Yale University. His research focuses on Latin American history, U.S. foreign relations, empire, colonialism, and human rights. Widely recognized for examining the historical relationship between the United States and Latin America, his work explores the intersections of imperial expansion, democracy, capitalism, and global politics. His book "The Empire of Necessity" won the Bancroft Prize, while "The End of the Myth" received the Pulitzer Prize Finalist distinction. In 2026, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction for "America, América: A New History of the New World." His other notable works include "The Last Colonial Massacre," "Empire's Workshop," "The Empire of Necessity," "The End of the Myth," and "America, América."
