小島庸平（こじま ようへい、1982–） 経済史学者。東京大学大学院経済学研究科准教授。日本経済史、農業史、金融史を専門とし、近現代日本の地域社会や金融、産業の歴史を実証的な史料にもとづいて研究している。『サラ金の歴史 消費者金融と日本社会』で新書大賞、サントリー学芸賞、日経・経済図書文化賞を受賞した。代表作『サラ金の歴史 消費者金融と日本社会』は、消費者金融の誕生から発展、社会問題化までの歩みをたどり、日本経済や人々の暮らしの変化との関わりを明らかにしている。
Yohei Kojima (born 1982) is a Japanese economic historian and Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, the University of Tokyo. Specializing in Japanese economic history, agricultural history, and financial history, his research explores the development of local communities, finance, and industry in modern Japan through extensive archival research. His book "The History of Consumer Finance in Japan" received the Shinsho Grand Prize, the Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Nikkei Prize for Excellent Books in Economic Science. His best-known book, "The History of Consumer Finance in Japan," traces the rise of consumer lending from its origins to its transformation into a major social issue, showing how it reshaped both Japan's economy and everyday life.
