後藤正治（ごとう・まさはる、1946年生まれ）は、日本のノンフィクション作家。京都市生まれ。京都大学農学部卒業。企業勤務を経て作家活動に入り、スポーツ、医療、社会、人物評伝など幅広い分野で優れたノンフィクション作品を発表してきた。徹底した取材と端正な文章によって人物の生き方や時代背景を丹念に描く作風で、日本を代表するノンフィクション作家の一人として高く評価されている。『空白の軌跡』で潮ノンフィクション賞、『遠いリング』で講談社ノンフィクション賞、『リターンマッチ』で大宅壮一ノンフィクション賞、『清冽―詩人茨木のり子の肖像』で桑原武夫学芸賞を受賞した。著書に『牙―江夏豊とその時代』『スカウト』『天人―深代惇郎と新聞の時代』『マラソンランナー』『奪われぬもの』などがある。

Masaharu Goto (born 1946) is a Japanese nonfiction writer widely regarded as one of the country's leading practitioners of literary journalism. After graduating from Kyoto University, he began a writing career that has spanned sports, medicine, biography, and contemporary Japanese society. Renowned for his meticulous reporting, elegant prose, and deep psychological insight, he has consistently illuminated the lives of remarkable individuals while placing them within their broader historical and social contexts. He received the Ushio Nonfiction Award for "Kūhaku no Kiseki" ("A Blank Trajectory"), the Kodansha Nonfiction Award for "Toi Ringu" ("The Distant Ring"), the Oya Soichi Nonfiction Award for "Return Match," and the Kuwabara Takeo Academic Award for "Seiretsu: A Portrait of the Poet Noriko Ibaragi."
