鴻池 留衣（こうのいけ るい、1987–） 小説家。埼玉県川口市生まれ。慶應義塾大学文学部中退。2016年、「二人組み」で新潮新人賞を受賞してデビューした。インターネット文化や陰謀論、ポスト真実、サブカルチャーなど現代社会の現象を鋭いユーモアと実験的な語りで描き、現実と虚構の境界を問い直す作品で注目を集めている。代表作『ジャップ・ン・ロール・ヒーロー』は、第160回芥川賞候補となり、情報と歴史、フェイクと真実が交錯する現代社会を描いた長編小説である。
Rui Konoike (born 1987) is a Japanese novelist. Born in Kawaguchi, Saitama, he left the Faculty of Letters at Keio University before making his literary debut in 2016 by winning the Shincho New Writers Award for his novella "Futarigumi." His fiction explores internet culture, conspiracy theories, post-truth politics, and contemporary subcultures through experimental narratives that blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. His best-known novel, "Jap'n Roll Hero," was shortlisted for the 160th Akutagawa Prize and examines the interplay of history, misinformation, and truth in the digital age.
