小島 岳彦（KOJIMA Takehiko）- 編集者、歴史研究者

小島岳彦（こじま たけひこ、1959年–）は、日本の編集者、歴史研究者。群馬県生まれ、学習院大学卒業。『昭和天皇実録』書籍版をはじめ、歴史、文芸、音楽に関する書籍の編集と執筆に携わってきた。代表作『国歌と反国歌』では、アメリカ、中国、イギリスの国歌と、それぞれの国で民衆の記憶や抵抗を担った歌を対置し、国家の成立や戦争、植民地支配、革命のなかで歌が果たした役割を検証している。「星条旗」と「アロハ・オエ」、中国国歌と「何日君再來」、「ゴッド・セイヴ・ザ・クイーン」と「蛍の光」の歴史をたどり、国歌が日本近代史とも結びつきながら形成された過程を描いた歴史ノンフィクションである。

Takehiko Kojima (born 1959) is a Japanese editor and historical researcher. Born in Gunma Prefecture, he graduated from Gakushuin University and has edited and written books on history, literature, and music, including the published edition of the official chronicle of Emperor Shōwa. His representative work, "Kokka to Hankokka," compares the national anthems of the United States, China, and Britain with songs that carried popular memory, mourning, and resistance. By tracing the histories of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "Aloha ʻOe," China’s national anthem and "When Will You Return?," and "God Save the Queen" and "Auld Lang Syne," the book examines how music became entangled with state formation, war, colonial rule, revolution, and modern Japanese history.
