略歴(Biography)
小島武仁(こじま・ふひと、1979年生まれ)は、日本の経済学者。東京大学大学院経済学研究科教授、東京大学マーケットデザインセンターセンター長。東京大学経済学部卒業後、Harvard Universityで経済学博士号(Ph.D.)を取得。Yale University、Stanford University、Columbia Universityを経て、2020年より現職。専門はマッチング理論、マーケットデザイン、ゲーム理論で、人と仕事、人と学校、医師と病院などを効率的かつ公平に結び付ける制度設計の研究を行っている。日本の研修医マッチング制度や保育所入所制度の改善にも貢献し、理論研究と社会実装の双方で国際的に高く評価されている。著書に『マッチング理論とマーケットデザイン』(共著)、『天才たちの未来予測図』(共著)などがある。

Fuhito Kojima (born 1979) is a Japanese economist and Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, the University of Tokyo, where he also serves as Director of the University of Tokyo Market Design Center. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. He subsequently held research and faculty positions at Yale University, Columbia University, and Stanford University before returning to the University of Tokyo in 2020. His research focuses on matching theory, market design, and game theory, developing mechanisms that efficiently and fairly match people with schools, jobs, hospitals, and public services. Widely recognized for bridging economic theory and public policy, he has contributed to the design and improvement of systems such as Japan's medical residency matching program and childcare allocation mechanisms. His notable books include "Matching Theory and Market Design" (co-authored) and "A Blueprint for the Future by Great Minds" (co-authored).
