児島青（こじま あお）は、日本の漫画家。編集者からスカウトを受け、2022年に漫画誌「ハルタ」へ掲載された読み切り「キッサコ」でデビューした。古書店を舞台とする『本なら売るほど』は、「このマンガがすごい！2026」オトコ編と「マンガ大賞2026」で第1位となり、2026年には手塚治虫文化賞マンガ大賞を受賞した。代表作『本なら売るほど』は、髪を後ろで束ねた物静かな店主が営む古書店「十月堂」を舞台とするオムニバス漫画である。本好きの常連客、背伸びをしたい女子高校生、本を処分しに来た男性、亡夫の蔵書を売ろうとする女性などが店を訪れ、一冊の本を手放す理由や新たに選び取る過程を通して、本に残された持ち主の記憶と、それを受け継ぐ読者とのつながりを描いている。

Ao Kojima is a Japanese manga artist. After being discovered by an editor, Kojima made a professional debut with the one-shot story "Kissako," published in the manga magazine "Harta" in 2022. The used-bookstore series "Hon Nara Uru Hodo" ranked first in the male-readers’ division of "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2026" and won both the Manga Taisho and the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize’s Manga Grand Prize in 2026. Set in Jugatsudo, a secondhand bookshop run by a quiet proprietor with tied-back hair, the series unfolds through interconnected episodes about the store’s visitors. Regular book collectors, a teenage girl eager to appear older, a man trying to dispose of unwanted books, and a widow selling her late husband’s library each reveal why books are kept, abandoned, or chosen again, connecting the memories of former owners with the lives of new readers.
