Karsten Dusse（カルステン・ドゥッセ、1973年生まれ）は、ドイツの弁護士、小説家、脚本家。ドイツ・エッセン生まれ。ボン大学およびローザンヌ大学で法学を学び、弁護士資格を取得した。一方で、長年にわたりテレビ番組の脚本家・放送作家として活躍し、ドイツ・テレビ賞やドイツ・コメディ賞を複数回受賞するなど、高い評価を得ている。2019年に発表したデビュー小説『Achtsam morden（英題：Murder Mindfully）』は、マインドフルネスとブラックユーモアを融合させた斬新な犯罪小説としてベストセラーとなり、シリーズ化されるとともにNetflixで映像化された。ユーモアとサスペンスを巧みに織り交ぜながら、人間心理や現代社会を風刺する作風で、現代ドイツを代表するエンターテインメント作家の一人として国際的な人気を集めている。
Karsten Dusse (born 1973) is a German lawyer, novelist, and television writer. Born in Essen, he studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Lausanne before qualifying as an attorney. Alongside his legal career, he spent many years writing for German television, winning multiple German Television Awards and German Comedy Awards, as well as earning a Grimme Award nomination for his work. His debut novel, Murder Mindfully (Achtsam morden), became Germany's bestselling paperback of the year, launching an internationally successful crime series that was later adapted into a Netflix television series. Blending crime fiction with mindfulness, dark humor, and sharp social satire, Dusse has established himself as one of Germany's most distinctive contemporary crime writers. His novels have been translated into more than thirty languages and have reached bestseller lists around the world.
