Kara Swisher (born 1962) is an American journalist, author, and podcast host. She earned a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. Since the 1990s, she has covered the rise of the internet and Silicon Valley, becoming one of the world's most influential technology journalists.
