カマラ・ハリス（Kamala Harris、1964年 - ） アメリカの政治家、法律家。カリフォルニア州司法長官、連邦上院議員を経て、2021年から2025年まで第49代アメリカ合衆国副大統領を務めた。女性として、またアフリカ系・アジア系として初めて副大統領に就任し、司法改革、公民権、移民政策、経済政策など幅広い分野に取り組んできた。代表作『私たちの真実～アメリカン・ジャーニー～』では、自らの生い立ちや検察官・政治家としての歩みを振り返るとともに、民主主義や法の支配、公共への奉仕についての考えを綴っている。
Kamala Harris (born 1964) is an American politician and attorney. After serving as District Attorney of San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and U.S. Senator from California, she became the 49th Vice President of the United States, serving from 2021 to 2025. Harris was the first woman, the first African American, and the first Asian American to hold the office. Throughout her career, she has focused on criminal justice, civil rights, immigration, and economic policy, making her one of the most prominent figures in contemporary American politics.
