Peter Bell is a technologist and educator with experience as a chief technology officer and corporate trainer. He has developed courses and learning materials on Git and GitHub. With Brent Beer, he coauthored “Introducing GitHub: A Non-Technical Guide,” an introduction to collaboration for developers and other project participants. The book explains how to use GitHub’s web interface to follow progress, examine revision history, edit files, and propose changes. It covers issues and pull requests, showing product and project managers how to participate in a development team’s work. It also explores using GitHub to collaborate on documents such as contracts and screenplays.
