Hiramatsu Shotaro is a software engineer who works in programming education. After graduating from Kyoto University’s Faculty of Agriculture, he worked for IT and AI companies before becoming independent. He teaches beginners through video courses and corporate training. His book “Zero kara Wakaru Linux Command 200-pon Knock” uses 200 exercises to teach frequently used Linux commands, including file operations and permissions. It also explains where command names come from and why the operations work as they do. Hiramatsu supervised “Git & GitHub no Shikumi to Sosa ga Kore Issatsu de Shikkari Wakaru Kyokasho,” written by LibreWorks. Through diagrams and hands-on exercises, the book covers recording changes, merging branches, and collaborating on GitHub through pull requests and reviews.
