柚木麻子(ゆずき・あさこ、1981年生まれ)は、日本の小説家。立教大学フランス文学専修卒業。2008年、『フォーゲットミー、ノットブルー』でオール讀物新人賞を受賞してデビューした。女性たちの友情や家族、恋愛、仕事、生きづらさを軽やかなユーモアと鋭い社会観察を交えて描く作風で高い評価を受けている。『ナイルパーチの女子会』で山本周五郎賞を受賞し、『BUTTER』は世界各国で翻訳され、2025年には英訳版がBritish Book Awardsの「Book of the Year: Pageturner」を受賞するなど、国際的にも大きな注目を集めた。著書に『ランチのアッコちゃん』『伊藤くん A to E』『マジカルグランマ』『あいにくあんたのためじゃない』などがある。
Asako Yuzuki (born 1981) is a Japanese novelist acclaimed for her insightful and witty portrayals of contemporary women's lives. After graduating from Rikkyo University, she made her literary debut in 2008 when "Forget Me, Not Blue" won the All Yomimono New Writers' Prize. Her fiction explores friendship, family, work, gender, and social expectations with psychological depth and sharp social observation. She received the Yamamoto Shugoro Prize for "Nile Perch no Joshikai" ("The Nile Perch Women's Club"). Her novel "Butter" became an international bestseller and was translated into more than 30 languages. In 2025, its English edition won the Book of the Year: Pageturner at the British Book Awards, further establishing her reputation among international readers.
