Jurica Pavičić（ユリツァ・パヴィチッチ、1965年生まれ）は、クロアチアの小説家、ジャーナリスト、映画評論家、脚本家。スプリト生まれ。ザグレブ大学で比較文学と歴史学を学び、1980年代後半から新聞・雑誌で映画評論や文化評論を執筆してきた。現在はクロアチアの有力紙 Jutarnji list のコラムニストとしても活動している。社会問題や歴史的背景を巧みに織り込んだ犯罪小説で国際的に高い評価を受け、複雑な人間心理と現代クロアチア社会を描く作品で知られる。代表作『Red Water』は、2021年にフランスのル・ポワン欧州ミステリー賞およびGrand Prix de Littérature Policière（海外部門）を受賞し、英国紙 The Guardian から「ヨーロッパを代表する犯罪小説家の一人」と評された。
Jurica Pavičić (born 1965) is a Croatian novelist, journalist, film critic, and screenwriter. Born in Split, he studied comparative literature and history at the University of Zagreb before beginning his career as a film critic and cultural commentator in the late 1980s. He is a longtime columnist for the Croatian daily Jutarnji list. Pavičić has earned international acclaim for crime novels that combine gripping suspense with perceptive social commentary, exploring the moral complexities of post-Yugoslav society and the lasting effects of political and historical change. His novel Red Water won both the Le Point European Crime Novel Prize and the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière for Best European Crime Novel in 2021. His works have been translated into numerous languages, establishing him as one of Europe's leading contemporary crime writers.
