吉田 良子（YOSHIDA Yoshiko）- 仏文翻訳家

吉田良子（よしだ よしこ、1959年–）は、日本のフランス語翻訳家。早稲田大学第一文学部卒業。カミーユ・エマニュエルの『跳ね返りとトラウマ』では、傷ついた人を支える家族や周囲の人にも及ぶ心理的な影響を紹介。ジュリエット・カズの『葬儀！』では、世界のさまざまな葬送や死者との関わり方を通して、死を扱う文化の違いを伝えている。ジャン＝ガブリエル・コースの『色の力』では、色が知覚や行動、日常の判断にどう作用するかを考える議論を訳した。アレクサンドル・デュマの『ボルジア家風雲録』など、歴史を題材にした文学作品も手がけている。

Yoshiko Yoshida (born 1959) is a Japanese translator working from French. She graduated from Waseda University’s School of Letters. Camille Emmanuelle’s book published in Japanese as “Hanekaeri to Trauma” explores psychological effects on people supporting someone who has experienced trauma. Juliette Cazes’s “Sogi!” introduces diverse funeral customs and relationships with the dead. Jean-Gabriel Causse’s writing on color considers its effects on perception, behavior, and everyday judgment. Yoshida also translates historical literature, including Alexandre Dumas’s account of the Borgia family, published in Japanese as “Borgia-ke Fuunroku.”
