Joseph Schumpeter(ヨーゼフ・シュンペーター、1883–1950) オーストリア生まれの経済学者。
Joseph Schumpeter (1883–1950) was an Austrian-born economist whose ideas profoundly shaped modern economics, innovation studies, and entrepreneurship. After studying at the University of Vienna, he held academic and public positions in Europe before joining the faculty of Harvard University, where he spent the latter part of his career. Schumpeter is best known for identifying innovation and entrepreneurship as the driving forces of economic development and for introducing the influential concept of "creative destruction," which describes how new technologies and business models continually transform industries and economies. His landmark work, "Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy," remains one of the most influential books on the evolution and future of capitalism.
