Jørn Lier Horst（ヨルン・リーエル・ホルスト、1970年生まれ）は、ノルウェーの推理作家。ノルウェー南東部のベストフォール県生まれ。長年にわたり警察官として勤務し、捜査主任や警部補として重大事件の捜査に携わった経験を持つ。2004年に作家デビューし、元警察捜査官ウィリアム・ヴィスティングを主人公とするシリーズで国際的な評価を確立した。実際の捜査経験に裏打ちされたリアリティと緻密なプロット、社会問題への鋭い視点を特徴とする作品は、現代北欧ミステリーを代表するシリーズの一つとされている。これまでにガラスの鍵賞、マルティン・ベック賞など数々の文学賞を受賞し、作品は40以上の言語に翻訳され、テレビドラマ化もされている。(jornlierhorst.com)
