宇都宮直子（うつのみや・なおこ、1977年生まれ）は、日本のノンフィクションライター、ジャーナリスト。多摩美術大学美術学部卒業後、出版社勤務を経てフリーランスとなり、『女性セブン』『週刊ポスト』などで事件、芸能、スポーツ、人物ルポを中心に取材・執筆を続けている。対象人物に長期間寄り添う綿密な取材と、当事者の心理や社会的背景を掘り下げるルポルタージュに定評がある。2025年、『渇愛 頂き女子りりちゃん』で第31回小学館ノンフィクション大賞を受賞した。著書に『ホス狂い』『羽生結弦を生んだ男 都築章一郎の道程』『三國連太郎、彷徨う魂へ』『渇愛 頂き女子りりちゃん』などがある。

Naoko Utsunomiya (born 1977) is a Japanese nonfiction writer and journalist. After graduating from Tama Art University and working in publishing, she became a freelance reporter, contributing to magazines such as Josei Seven and Weekly Post. She is known for immersive, long-term reporting on crime, entertainment, sports, and human-interest stories, with a particular focus on the psychological and social dimensions of her subjects. In 2025, she received the 31st Shogakukan Nonfiction Award for "Katsuai: Itadaki Joshi Ririchan" ("Insatiable Desire: Ririchan, the 'Sugar Baby' Swindler"). Her other notable books include "Hosu-gurui" ("Obsessed with Host Clubs"), "The Man Who Nurtured Yuzuru Hanyu: The Journey of Shoichiro Tsuzuki," and "Rentaro Mikuni: A Wandering Soul."
