Wendy Warren（ウェンディ・ウォーレン）は、アメリカの歴史学者。Princeton University歴史学教授。専門は植民地時代の北アメリカ史、大西洋世界、奴隷制、人種の歴史で、とりわけ17世紀のニューイングランドとアフリカ系住民の経験を研究している。豊富な一次史料をもとに、初期アメリカ社会における奴隷制の形成や人種関係の実態を明らかにする研究で高い評価を受けている。学術研究と一般向け歴史ノンフィクションの双方で活躍し、アメリカ建国以前の歴史を新たな視点から描き出す歴史家として知られている。
Wendy Warren is an American historian. She is a professor of history at Princeton University, where she specializes in colonial North American history, the Atlantic world, slavery, and the history of race. Her research focuses particularly on seventeenth-century New England and the experiences of Africans and African Americans in early colonial society. Drawing on extensive archival research, Warren has reshaped understanding of the origins of slavery and racial hierarchy in early America. Through both her scholarly work and narrative history writing, she has established herself as a leading interpreter of colonial America and the historical foundations of race and slavery in the United States.
