ヴィンチェンツォ・ラトロニコ（Vincenzo Latronico、1984–）は、イタリアの小説家、翻訳家。ローマ生まれで、ミラノ大学で哲学を学んだ後、小説の執筆と英米文学の翻訳を中心に活動している。ジョージ・オーウェルやオスカー・ワイルド、F・スコット・フィッツジェラルドなどの作品をイタリア語に翻訳する一方、現代社会やデジタル文化、アイデンティティを鋭く描いた作品で注目を集めている。代表作『Perfection』では、ベルリンで暮らす若いクリエイティブ層の日常を通して、SNS時代の自己演出や消費文化、現代人の空虚さを繊細な筆致で描き、2025年のインターナショナル・ブッカー賞最終候補となった。
Vincenzo Latronico (1984–) is an Italian novelist and translator. Born in Rome and educated in philosophy at the University of Milan, he has built a career as both a fiction writer and a translator of English-language authors, including George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, and F. Scott Fitzgerald. His work explores contemporary life, digital culture, identity, and consumerism with sharp social observation and understated prose. His best-known novel, "Perfection", portrays the carefully curated lives of young expatriate creatives in Berlin, offering a subtle critique of social media, aspiration, and modern alienation. The novel was shortlisted for the 2025 International Booker Prize.
