Tracy Kidder（トレイシー・キダー、1945年生まれ）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、作家。ハーバード大学卒業後、ベトナム戦争に従軍した経験を経て、ノンフィクション作家として活動を始めた。科学技術、教育、医療、社会問題をテーマに、長期にわたる綿密な取材と優れたストーリーテリングを融合させた作品で高く評価されている。1981年刊行の『The Soul of a New Machine』は、コンピューター開発プロジェクトの舞台裏を描いた画期的なルポルタージュとして、1982年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。その後も、地方教育、医療、アフリカ支援などを題材に数多くの作品を発表している。著書に『The Soul of a New Machine』『Among Schoolchildren』『Mountains Beyond Mountains』『Strength in What Remains』『A Truck Full of Money』などがある。
