Thomas Harding（トーマス・ハーディング、1968年生まれ）は、イギリスのジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。ケンブリッジ大学コーパス・クリスティ・カレッジで人類学と政治学を学んだ後、ジャーナリストやテレビ制作者として活動した。家族史、ホロコースト、戦争、植民地主義、出版文化などをテーマに、綿密な史料調査と人物取材をもとにしたナラティブ・ノンフィクションを数多く執筆している。2013年刊行の『Hanns and Rudolf』で高い評価を受け、その後も『The House by the Lake』『Blood on the Page』『White Debt』『The Maverick』など話題作を発表。歴史の大きな転換点を、一人ひとりの人生や家族の物語を通して描き出す手法で国際的に高く評価されている。著書は20以上の言語に翻訳されている。
Thomas Harding (born 1968) is a British journalist and nonfiction author whose work focuses on history, biography, war, the Holocaust, colonialism, and cultural heritage. After studying anthropology and political science at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, he worked as a journalist and television producer before becoming a full-time writer. Harding is acclaimed for combining meticulous archival research with compelling narrative storytelling, often exploring major historical events through the lives of individuals and families. His internationally bestselling books include Hanns and Rudolf, The House by the Lake, Blood on the Page, White Debt, and The Maverick. Translated into more than twenty languages, his work has received numerous honors, including the Wingate Prize and the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction, establishing him as one of Britain's leading narrative historians.
