略歴（Biography）
東辻賢治郎（とうつじ・けんじろう、1978年生まれ）は、日本の翻訳家、建築・都市史研究者、地図製作者。東京大学大学院およびETH Zurich大学院で建築史・都市史を学び、地図製作にも携わる。建築、都市、地図、環境、人文学を横断する分野を専門とし、空間や移動、人と場所との関係をテーマとする海外ノンフィクションを数多く翻訳している。2024年には初の単著『地図とその分身たち』を刊行。主な訳書に『ウォークス 歩くことの精神史』『迷うことについて』『私のいない部屋』『フェミニスト・シティ』『クライミング・マインド』などがある。
Kenjiro Totsuji (born 1978) is a Japanese translator, architectural and urban historian, and cartographer. After studying architectural and urban history at the University of Tokyo and ETH Zurich, he pursued a career combining translation, historical research, and mapmaking. His work focuses on architecture, cities, cartography, environmental humanities, and the relationship between people and place. In 2024, he published his first original book, "Maps and Their Doubles" ("Chizu to Sono Bunshintachi"). His notable translations include "Wanderlust: A History of Walking," "A Field Guide to Getting Lost," "Recollections of My Nonexistence," "Feminist City," and "Mountains of the Mind."
