ちば てつや（Chiba Tetsuya、1939–） 日本の漫画家。スポーツや青春を題材に、人間の成長や葛藤、努力を温かなまなざしで描き、日本漫画界を代表する作家の一人として広く親しまれている。繊細な人物描写と躍動感あふれる表現で数多くの名作を生み出し、後進の漫画家にも大きな影響を与えてきた。2024年には文化勲章を受章した。代表作『あしたのジョー』（Ashita no Joe）は、高森朝雄（梶原一騎）原作によるボクシング漫画の金字塔として、日本の漫画史に大きな足跡を残している。
Tetsuya Chiba (1939–) is a Japanese manga artist and one of the most influential figures in the history of manga. Renowned for his expressive artwork and deeply human storytelling, he has portrayed themes of perseverance, personal growth, and youthful aspiration through sports and coming-of-age narratives. His work has inspired generations of manga creators, and in 2024 he was awarded the Order of Culture, one of Japan's highest cultural honors. His best-known work, "Ashita no Joe", created with writer Asao Takamori (Ikki Kajiwara), is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxing manga ever produced and a landmark in Japanese popular culture.
