Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (born 1977) is a Nigerian novelist and essayist whose work explores colonialism, migration, race, gender, and identity from a distinctly African perspective. Celebrated for her vivid storytelling and moral clarity, she has become one of the most influential literary voices of the twenty-first century. Her best-known novel, *Half of a Yellow Sun*, is set during the Biafran War and portrays the lives, loves, and losses of ordinary people caught in the conflict. The novel won the 2007 Women's Prize for Fiction and established Adichie as a major international author. Her essay *We Should All Be Feminists* has also become a global touchstone for contemporary feminism.
