ティモシー・イーガン（Timothy Egan、1954–）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。『ニューヨーク・タイムズ』紙で長年記者・コラムニストを務め、アメリカ西部の歴史、環境、政治、社会をテーマに数多くの作品を発表してきた。綿密な取材と優れたストーリーテリングを生かした歴史ノンフィクションで高い評価を受け、2006年には『The Worst Hard Time』で全米図書賞（ノンフィクション部門）を受賞した。代表作『The Worst Hard Time』では、1930年代のダストボウルを生き抜いた人々の姿を通して、自然災害と人間の営み、そしてアメリカ社会の強靱さを描いている。
Timothy Egan (1954–) is an American journalist and nonfiction author. A longtime reporter and columnist for The New York Times, he has written extensively on the history, environment, politics, and culture of the American West. Combining meticulous reporting with vivid historical storytelling, he has become one of the leading interpreters of America's past. His best-known book, "The Worst Hard Time", recounts the experiences of those who endured the Dust Bowl of the 1930s and won the 2006 National Book Award for Nonfiction.
